Abstract Submission

 

All interested contributors are invited to submit their abstracts for oral or poster presentations. To submit an abstract please follow the guidelines below:

 

A) If you have participated in one of our previous conferences and you already have created your profile, please follow the steps below:

STEP 1: Submit your user name and password here (http://bookings.magma.travel)

STEP 2: Click on "Congress"

STEP 3: Select the congress you are interested in (The Athens Tourism Symposium 2011)

STEP 4: Click on "Abstracts" on the left hand side menu

STEP 5: Submit your abstract (in .doc format)

 

In case you don't remember your user name and password please e-mail the conference sercetariat at ats@heliotopos.net in order to inform you accordingly.

 

B) If you are a new user please follow the procedure below:

STEP 1: Create your profile here (http://bookings.magma.travel/Register.php)

STEP 2: Click on "Congress"

STEP 3: Select the congress you are interested in (The Athens Tourism Symposium 2011)

STEP 4: Click on "Abstracts" on the left hand side menu

STEP 5: Submit your abstract (in .doc format)

 

All submissions will be double-blind reviewed. Extended abstracts shall be up to 800 words written in English in 12-point Times New Roman font with single spacing, be fully aligned and include the following information:

 

Name(s) and affiliations of author(s)
Contact e-mail(s) and postal address(es)
Contact phone number
Title of research paper
Congress topic
Extended abstract (up to 800 words)
Select references

 

IMPORTANT DEADLINES

 

Extended Abstract Submission: September 30th, 2010
Abstract Acceptance Notification (with referees˘ comments): November 10th, 2010
Full Paper Submission for inclusion in the conference proceedings: January 5th, 2011

 

Át least one of the authors of accepted papers is expected to register for the congress and present their paper.

 

Selected submissions will be considered for publication by leading scientific journals. More details on this and additional information on the congress will be announced soon.


AUTHORS

 

Authors should pay the full registration by 5 January 2011 to ensure that their paper will appear in the programme and will be included in the Proceedings.


AUTHOR'S MORAL OBLIGATION

 

The organisers consider acceptance of a presentation as a commitment by at least one of the authors to register for and attend the conference to present the paper. If extenuating circumstances prevent the author from making the presentation, it is the author's moral obligation to find an alternative presenter and to notify the organisers.
